I have been practicing since 2011 and have extensive training in several evidence-based modalities. I completed a clinical internship at the University of Michigan Health System's Department of Psychiatry, Child and Adolescent Section. After completing my Master's in Social Work (MSW) degree, I was awarded a post-graduate fellowship at the University of Michigan Department of Psychiatry where I completed one year of my fellowship before transitioning into a staff position as a Clinical Social Worker. Transitioning
My training has including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Family Focused Therapy (FFT), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), and trauma and grief therapy including Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT). I am able to treat trauma- or adjustment-related problems, anxiety, phobias, depression, self-harm, and a variety of other issues that may be interfere with wellness.
More recently, my traning has included psychodynamic and body-centered approaches. I utilize mindfulness in all of my approaches. I am flexible to adapt each treatment plan to the needs and goals of each individual. This can include talk therapy, mindfulness, yoga, or a combination of all three.
